Note - you are permitted 2 substitutes throughout the series, so you can give us a minimum of 4 anglers' names and a maximum of 6, where 4 anglers can fish at each match. Maximum number of teams in league: 8.

 

To confirm your place in the league, we require a deposit of £80 in advance of the league start. If you are paying by cheque, please make it payable to 'Redwood Park' and post it to: - 

 

Match Dates:

• Match 1: Saturday 12th November

• Match 2: Saturday 10th December

• Match 3: Saturday 14th January

• Match 4: Saturday 25th February

 

League Details

• Draws: 09:00
• Fish: 10:15 - 15:15
• Sweep £20 per angler (£80 per team per match)
• This includes a £6 peg fee

Match payout:

• 1st: 25% of match takings
• 2nd: 15% of match takings
• 3rd: 10% of match takings
• 50% of takings go to league prize fund

League prizes:

• 1st: 65% of league fund
• 2nd: 35% of league fund

Scoring Information:

• Points on EACH lake will be awarded: 1 point for highest weight, 2 for second highest, etc.
• Winners are lowest team points. If a tie, the winners will be based on biggest team weight of fish.

 

 

League / Open Rules:

• All Redwood Park rules and match rules apply. Incorrect application of net rules will be penalised.
  Hooks may be checked.
• If weights are tied on the day, then the mean point’s total of all positions occupied by the tied anglers will comprise their total. (E.g. if two anglers get 25lb 2oz, and are joint 1st, they will both accrue 4.5 points).
• No points will be awarded to any angler offering nothing to the scales.

 

New Match Rules (2015) – Our priority is the welfare of the fish and wildlife

• No Floating baits to be used.
• Maximum hook size allowed 12.
• No mixed carp and silver fish nets will be weighed.
• No net shall contain greater than 50lb of fish.
• Any net of 50lb or more will be recorded as 50lb
• If you need another net, just get another from your designated net box.
